Because as your organization grows, so will the possible distractions. And make no mistake, everything that doesn’t produce new customers and grow the team is a distraction. And you have to get rid of them.
Every team member you have faces a huge decision, each and every day. They have to decide should they prospect a candidate – facing the possibility of rejection – or can they find a distraction and practice avoidance behavior?
Your company just introduced a new protein shake in six delicious flavors. Know what your new distributor will ask? “When will they have mango flavor?”
That’s a distraction. Get rid of it.
You just sponsored a new distributor in Kansas. Know what she will say when you get her started? “My sister lives in Nigeria. When is the company going to open there?”
That’s a distraction. Get rid of it.
Your team members will suggest if the company pays more money in the comp plan they can grow faster.
That’s a distraction. Get rid of it.
We don’t control the wind. We only control what direction we can turn the sail.
We don’t develop products, design IT, create the compensation plan, manage the warehouse, create the company logo, or hire the customer service employees. We don’t control elections, public policy, the weather or the economy. All those things are distractions. You get rid of them – or they kill your business.
We present the business opportunity and get customers. That’s how we get paid. Everything else is a distraction.
Every time you have a team member get seduced by a distraction, you have to get rid of it and get them focused on building their customer base and getting prospects in front of a presentation.
So when someone says, “There is a new company starting and I hear they pay an extra 1 percent of the breakaway volume for the third generation…”
You say, Now that’s a distraction. Let’s focus on what you can control. Let’s get out your candidate list and start inviting people to take the free trial.”
When John says, “I hear that Frank, one of our top leaders just left and went to a competing company. Is that true? Why did he leave…”
You say, “John, that’s a distraction. Let’s focus on what you can control". We wish Frank the best of success for his future. Let’s get out your candidate list and start inviting people to the free trial.”
When Sarah says, “How will the UK leaving the EU affect the price of herbs in the South American rain forest which would impact the exchange rate that we get paid commissions on…”

Back to the team business.....this past week it had been a slow week as far as getting signups but we did get a total of 13 subscribers! Even though it was a slow it has to do with it being during the summer time where a lot of people are outside away from their computers or on vacation, which is absolutely normal! Every week is different, some weeks we are busy and some weeks are not. Nonetheless, we continue with our hard work with the advertising! And as always and rule of thumb....the more people who see our ads, the more subscribers we will get and more people joining. – Keep Up The Good Work – Go Team!

Anyway, this past week we got a total of 10 subscribers and three members (one new and two that have returned to my group)! Welcome to our GDI Team Elite Cory, Edward and Robert! Overall, we continue to do well! Thank you! And as always....Rule of thumb....the more people who sees our ads, the more subscribers we get, more people joining. – Keep Up The Good Work – Let's get more subscribers and members! Go Team!
Recently, I joined Referral Frenzy which is very much worth having because it helps us to send out to mailers in mass amounts. The good news is that we can mail up to 90 different safelists all at once in a matter of minutes. Plus they give about 80,000 mail credits, 15,000 surf credits, and more for banners and texts every month! The only thing about this is that it does cost $15/month or $97/per year. It will be an option for you to save tons of time advertising. If anyone is interested in joining then below is my banner link for it.
Important facts/notes as a reminder:

- To succeed in GDI each and everyone of us the final outcome to success is totally up to us.
- Always be in good communication with your downline (and upline) members. If your upline (or team leader) emails you directly that doesn't involve the whole group, please reply as soon as you can. It is extremely important that your team leader hears from you especially if the team is placing members under you. After all, we ARE a team and we WORK together to build a downline group for you.
- Helping your new direct members: If you get new members added to your downline please communicate with them and help them get started. Remember...No communication = less success!
- "If you meet the weekly requirement of getting at least 1000 hits (preferably from safelists sites) using your team link, you will get your 6 over the course of time". The key is to advertise everywhere you possibly can.
- The system does work but if we members do not do the work the way it's suppose to be done then the system will not work. If you do not understand how the system works please go back to the first welcome message I sent you when you first joined. If you do not have that email anymore then let me know and I will resend it to you.
- Auto-surfing of any kind is not allowed as it produces absolutely NO results. No one sees our ads this way. Rule of Thumb...."No new eyes seeing our ads = No signups".
- Keep in mind that the number of subscribers we are getting during the week doesn't mean all of them will sign up. It just means they took interest in our ads and wish to get more information on Team Elite. Some do end up signing up and some don't. Those who haven't signed up yet I am always following up with them.
- The "team leaders training page" is available to anyone upon request. Any member who has gotten 6 members at any level from the team can become a team leader. If you already have your 6, please contact me and we will help you get started. Becoming team leader is a key factor in making their GDI business a success.

Team Elite works by helping you to get your 6 and then we teach you how to be a team leader, a role that is very challenging and fun! How you can help is to show them how to advertise if some do not know how. By having a good communication rapport among members give us a strong good position to grow!

Hope all is well with you and that you had a good week! Summer time is still here and very hot! Some of you may be facing winter time and is cold in your area. Those who want to be cooler want winter and those who want to be warm want summer! Soon we will be switching climates!
This past week our total number of subscribers (people taking interest) is about 8! Unfortunately, summer months are almost always the slowest time of the year due to people being offline more, being on vacation and the like. We do see more activity during the cooler/colder months because more people are inside checking the net and see our ads leading to more signups. Hang in there everyone and things will start to pick up. We continue our hard work with our advertising. Rule of thumb....the more people see our ads, the more subscribers come and people joining. – Keep Up The Good Work – Go Team!
I have had a lot members asking me why the subscriber letters keep coming to them. They say...."I thought I did join!?" And yes, you did join and you are on our team! Once you join our GDI Team Elite you do not need our campaign letters to keep coming to you. To discontinue these letters from coming to you automatically all you need to do is the following:
- Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the campaign email
- Click on "Manage Your Subscription"
- Click on "Remove my address from this campaign"
- That's it and then you close the page (You do not have to click on "You also have the option to have your address permanently blocked from our system" button).

Hope all is well with you and that you had a good week! If you notice the background on this blog you will see a waterfall. That is called Akaka Falls located on the Big Island (Hawaii) that I often go to for work or for a short vacation. One of the things I love to do there is hike around to see different water falls. The background photo I used last week was Rainbow Falls, also located on the Big island. Beautiful Falls they have there!
This past week our total number of subscribers (people taking interest) is 7! Two people have asked for links to join and I am working with them to join our team! Please continue your hard work with your advertising and the sign ups will come for everyone who helps out with the advertising. We continue to treat this as our own business with Team Elite's help. Here is a quote from our upline member, Martin Payling from an email he sent to a prospect. What he says rings true and I think most of us will get something from it.....
"GDI Team Elite is a great base business but it does need time to get to know the system and really understand what is involved.. Once you start to get your head around how this kind of online business works then you won't be looking for quick easy riches online. I probably do not need to tell you that there is no such thing.
This business is no different to any other, you are key.... The vital component in your success is you.... But this supposed to be a team effort you might say! Yes that's quite right and it really is.... But without your willingness to embrace the GDITE system then this simply won't work.
So I am assuming you are willing to get really involved here with how the gdite system works and are willing to learn how we do things and then pass this on to your downline. If you are, then this is definitely for you. If not, then it's not for you...simple as that!

It is understandable that many people do feel bitter towards online business, when there are so many sites out there that are put together with the intent to mislead and then ultimately close on you just before you actually reach the point where you are about to make a return on your time and money investment.
I shouldn't need to tell you that GDI have stood the test of time, and being paying their affiliates month in month out for the last 15 plus years. So the business is not an issue, GDI Team Elite system has proven also to stand the test of time as we have now been active for a little over 5 years.
So we have the right company and the right system. Just a matter of if you want to dive in deep enough to make this work for you. With our branch of GDI Team Elite the help is always there.
The people who learn our system, use it and pass it on and remain committed are the people who make money in GDI. The people who choose to join us and wait for things to happen, choose not to communicate or follow the system etc make nothing and usually quit."
